What We Do

Vauxhall Community Law and Information Centre, based in Vauxhall, Liverpool provides access to justice to our community on a range of social welfare issues. We support sick and disabled people, those affected by the cut to Universal Credit including people working in the gig economy and on a zero hours contract.

We give support on a range of legal advice. You can call or email our centre to receive advice in respect of Welfare Benefits and Housing enquiries. We also offer a Bereavement support service for those who need practical advice after they have lost someone.

OUR SERVICES

Our Specialist Welfare Benefit Advisors assist on all Welfare Benefit matters from benefit entitlement checks through to online appeals. We can assist with representation at Tribunals and the Upper Tribunal. See more on our Welfare Benefit Advice page.

We offer free, friendly, impartial advice to help you ease your financial worries. If you are struggling to repay your debt, our debt team can help you find a solution to get out of it.

We can assist with a variety of issues in relation to housing. Whether you rent from a social landlord, private landlord or the Home Office. We also assist persons who are homeless or are affected by no recourse to public funds. See our housing advice page for information

Our Bereavements advice service aims to provide practical support to those who have suffered a bereavement. where we can assist with benefit checks. We have also created a comprehensive information pack. View our bereavement advice page to find out more.
